ARMI | BIOFABUSA WILL BE SPEAKING AT THE REGULATORY SCIENCE TO ADVANCE PRECISION MEDICINE FORUM.

ARMI Speakers will include:

Richard McFarland, Chief Regulatory Officer - 3D Printing of Medical Products: Considerations to Inform Regulatory Decision-Making

The increased focus on precision medicine holds tremendous promise to more effectively target treatments to those individuals most likely to have a benefit, however there are a number of regulatory science challenges to ultimately develop and utilize personalized medicine technologies and approaches. The objective of this initiative is to bring together federal agencies, industry, and academic institutions, to help identify and address some of the key topics and opportunities for regulatory science to advance precision medicine.  Ultimately, the goal is to advance precision medicine by identifying regulatory science gaps, specific regulatory considerations (and inform regulatory decision-making), and suggestions for the development of educational resources.

The Regulatory Science to Advance Precision Medicine Working Group has finalized a set of topics that will be the focus of the Fall Forum:

1. 3D printing of medical products, including combinations with cell products (e.g. applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine)

2. Technologies and approaches that integrate and analyze genomic, proteomic, metabolic, and/or epigenetic data for precision medicine
