2018 Manufacturing Needs for Biofabrication of Engineered Tissues and Organs

  • Meridian Ballroom, Graduate Minneapolis 615 Washington Avenue Southeast Minneapolis, MN, 55414 United States (map)

ARMI | BioFabUSA will sponsor the University of Minnesota's 2018 Manufacturing Needs for Biofabrication of Engineered Tissues and Organs.

ARMI Speakers will include:

Becky Robinson-Zeigler, Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer

Breakthroughs in cell technologies, materials science and biofabrication methods, particularly 3D bioprinting, have laid a foundation for large-scale manufacturing of tissues and tissue-related products. Attendees of this conference will learn from industry and academic experts on what will be needed to bring biofabrication from its current prototype stage to reproducible, manufactured tissue products in the future. Short talks, panel discussions, and brainstorming sessions will include topics covering biofabrication standards, scalable 3D biomanufacturing tools and processes, non-invasive monitoring of 3D bioprinted tissue, and others.
