ARMI | BioFabUSA will be hosting a workshop Automated Manufacturing: Tissue Design and Biofabrication Strategies with Advanced Solutions Life Sciences.
Although regenerative medicine is no longer simply designing replacement parts, work in the field over the past two decades has done little to close the huge gaps between the need for regenerative medicine and commercially available products. One barrier to the progression of the regenerative tissue manufacturing industry is a lack of information flow and collaboration around the available technology. In order to build an innovative solutions-oriented community to propel the regenerative tissues manufacturing industry forward ARMI USA has developed a new workshop and webinar series focused on cutting edge technology that is useful in progressing the regenerative medicine field. These sessions are focused on the use and application of leading edge technology, and are intended to provide a variety of learning experiences including information sharing, hands-on technology training, evaluation of case studies, collaborative troubleshooting discourse, as well as progressive intellectual modeling experiences that provide participants with scaffolding tools to guide their organization’s next steps.
ARMI is partnering with Advanced Solutions Life Sciences to kickoff these Regenerative Medicine Tech Talk Workshops, May 31st and June 1st 2018. This will be an exciting and intense 2-day workshop focusing on the use and development of automated technologies to streamline the use of bioprinting in the regenerative manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on current applications, troubleshooting the technology’s limitations as well as dialogue on what is possible with additive manufacturing. The schedule will combine seminars by experts in the field, demonstrations of cutting-edge technology, open collaborative discussions and experiential hands-on workshops. This workshop will go beyond the basics and provide innovative insights into the advancement of additive manufacturing in regenerative medicine. In addition, one lucky workshop participant will win an Advanced Solutions BiobotTM Basic which will be bundled with Dimension Inx’s Hyperelastic Bone and 3D-Graphene 3D-Paints!
- Participants will use a Tissue Structure Information Modeling Software TSMI® in order to design, visualize and create a precise 3D model
- Hands-on experience fabricating tissue with a benchtop 3-axis bioprinter
- Training provided by leading industry and academic experts in the field
- Hands-on training and 3D printing with advanced biomaterials such as hyperelastic bone and 3D-graphene
- Participation in solutions-oriented discussion surrounding cutting edge additive manufacturing
- Membership discount on 3-axis and 6-axis robotic arm bioprinters
