ARMI | BIOFABUSA WILL SPONSOR AND BE SPEAKING AT THE SYMPOSIUM FOR EMERGING CHALLENGES IN TISSUE ENGINEERING & REGENERATIVE MEDICINE FOR THE NEXT 15 YEARS: DISCOVERY - INNOVATION - TRANSLATION AT NEW JERSEY CENTER FOR BIOMATERIALS.

The New Jersey Center for Biomaterials is hosting a symposium on March 20-21, 2019 to formally introduce the biomaterials group of the newly established Initiative for Materials Research at Rutgers University (iMR@RU). iMR@RU is a collaborative effort for faculty to strengthen the competitiveness and visibility of materials research at Rutgers. The symposium will not only cover challenges in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, it will also cover innovations and discoveries in industry. The symposium will feature about 20 speakers and several panels over the course of two days from academia and industry. The second day will be sponsored by ARMI (Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute) and will focus on challenges in biomanufacturing and biofabrication. It will feature selected speakers who will highlight current progress in the field of biomanufacturing, such as Dr. Thomas Bollenbach (CTO of ARMI) and Dr. Becky Robinson-Zeigler (Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer at ARMI). Special presentations will focus on ARMI, regulatory science, and funding opportunities.
