ARMI | BioFabUSA is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the Mayo Clinic Symposium on Regenerative Medicine and Surgery. The symposium will take place November 29 – December 1 at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, AZ and will feature presentations on the latest advances in regenerative medicine and surgery. The symposium provides an opportunity to see the latest research and translational opportunities provided by the Mayo Clinic at its three sites, and to interact with scientists, clinicians and translationalists within the field of regenerative medicine.
Industry experts will speak on panels and “rapid-fire” sessions that are designed to be interactive and informative, providing an open forum for discussion. Experts like Dr. Richard McFarland, Chief Regulatory Office of ARMI | BioFabUSA, will be speaking on the panel titled “Accelerating Therapies to Application.” The event is open to specialists and non-specialists alike who are interested in regenerative medicine therapies and techniques with networking opportunities available throughout the symposium.
Dr. Richard Hayden, Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Education Director for the Mayo Clinic Center for Regenerative Medicine, has helped coordinate this event and provided some insight regarding what he hopes individuals can gain as a result of attending this symposium. He stated that, “Individuals should walk away with: (1) exposure to the cutting-edge technologies and breakthroughs that are available in regenerative medicine and surgery today; (2) awareness of the most up-to-date research regarding clinical and translational opportunities that are available for regenerative science now and in the near term; and (3) exposure to a broad cross-section of Mayo Clinic initiatives, ranging from clinical science, basic science, and industry, with an opportunity for collaboration and cooperation.”
