Developing a ready workforce for the biofabrication manufacturing industry is an important part of ARMI's mission. To that end, we will be leveraging our community portal to connect talent and career opportunities with the launch of the BioFabUSA Talent Exchange (BETA).
With more than 600 active portal users and an ever growing number of member companies, we believe this tool will serve as a catalyst to connect people interested in careers in biofabrication with the companies and labs that need their help to succeed.
With the launch of the BioFabUSA Talent Exchange (BETA), ARMI | BioFabUSA member organizations have the ability to self-post career opportunities via the community portal (login and select 'Career Opportunities', then 'Post an Opportunity'). These postings can be seen by anyone with a community portal account (you do not need to be part of an ARMI | BioFabUSA member to create an account or see the listings). BioFabUSA Talent Exchange (BETA) launch partners Histogenics, Embody and DEKA Research & Development have posted full-time, part-time and internship opportunities. We encourage other BioFabUSA members to do the same! If your company or lab could use help finding talent interested in a career in biofabrication, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about how to become a member.
Similarly, individuals seeking career opportunities can log into the portal, update their user profile and indicate that they are open to being contacted by ARMI members about career opportunities (login and select 'Career Opportunities', then 'Enhance Your Profile').
The launch of the BioFabUSA Talent Exchange is an exciting next step for the program as we seek to fulfill our mission to "make practical the large-scale manufacturing of engineered tissues and tissue-related technologies, to benefit existing industries and grow new ones."
