The rapidly advancing field of regenerative medicine encompasses a range of new approaches to repair, regenerate, or replace damaged tissues in the body. Manchester has become a hot bed for bringing new technologies to patients. Dr. Daniel J. Weiss, Professor in the Department of Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Vermont, will explore the hope and the hype of the science and politics behind this exciting area.
This event is funded in part by the Saul O. Sidore Memorial Lecture Series, which was established in 1965 in hopes to offer programs to the University and New Hampshire community that raise critical and sometimes controversial issues facing our society.
Join the University of New Hampshire at Manchester on Wednesday, May 9 2018 from 5:30-7:30 in Room 201 at the UNH Manchester campus. Parking for the event is available on Commercial Street as well as the lots surrounding 88 Commercial Street after 5 P.M.
