Spring 2018 Project Call Webinars Now Available

ARMI | BioFabUSA recently launched three project calls (described in detail below).  To aid potential respondents, ARMI | BioFabUSA has published three webinars that provide additional context to the provided documentation and information that may be helpful in ensuring that responses are complete and properly formatted.  An overview of the project calls and a link to the respective portal pages are available below.

SPRING 2018 TECHNICAL PROJECT CALL

ARMI | BioFabUSA needs your participation in the implementation of Quality by Design (QbD) standards and practices early in the developmental process to allow for technological advancements and practices in cell biology, engineering, regulatory, automation and data analytics. The removal of existing hurdles, while preempting possible future issues, will allow for the best course of action to standardize practices for reproducible and scalable tissue manufacturing.

SPRING 2018 TISSUEFOUNDRY TECHNOLOGY CALL

To help achieve its mission, one of the BioFabUSA program’s manufacturing goals is to make practical end-to-end automated biofabrication lines; however, current state of the art practices within tissue manufacturing are inadequate for scale-up and large-scale manufacturing. The ARMI | BioFabUSA is looking for your expertise in the development of non-invasive, single-use measurement technologies for metabolites, proteins, lipids as well as others that will simultaneously allow for data capture, collection and storage using multi-omics.

SPRING 2018 EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT CALL

ARMI | BioFabUSA requires your industry and academic input regarding skills gaps, career pathways and training needs to catalyze the development of regenerative medicine. Mechanisms must be put in place for the current and future workforce to progress with the correct skills and real-world experience required of industry. Workforce training will need to adapt and integrate these skills into education and training at all levels, to forge the path to advance the mission of regenerative medicine.
