ARMI’s mission is to make practical the large-scale manufacture of engineered tissues and tissue related technologies.
On Independence Day, we thought it important to reflect upon the significance of the holiday and the role our work plays in supporting the men and women that ensure we remain free. Military members who raise their hand and pledge to defend the freedom’s we enjoy endure great risk. For too many, this risk of harm becomes a reality. Amazingly, many of these wounded Warfighters remain committed to returning to their mission. ARMI | BioFabUSA is motivated by this heroism to develop the tools that will allow America to manufacture the engineered tissues and organs necessary to allow these wounded Warfighters to continue their mission.
BioFabUSA Program Manager, John Getz expresses this best in his message: “As we take the time to celebrate our Declaration of Independence this week, let us honor the men and women who have made sacrifice in defense of our freedoms. President Truman once said ‘America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination.’ The BioFabUSA team efforts and core values are soundly rooted in delivering on the promise of bringing engineered tissues and related technology to large-scale ensuring our Warfighters, when injured, are guaranteed world-class medical solutions...with courage, imagination and an unwavering determination.”
ARMI | BioFabUSA wishes everyone, especially those serving or who have served in the military, a happy and safe Independence Day.
