Request for Quotes: ARMI & ARPA-H REACT – SC-Islet Differentiation and Testing

The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) is seeking quotes from qualified laboratories with unique human stem cell-derived islet (SC-islet) differentiation protocols to support work under the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Resilient Extended Automatic Cell Therapies (REACT) program.

Background & Project Description

ARMI is conducting a study to identify the Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) of SC-islets necessary for preclinical assessment and manufacturing scale-up.

Selected laboratories will generate SC-islets according to their unique differentiation protocols and provide samples to ARMI for deep characterization. Laboratories will also conduct, or collaborate with a partner laboratory to conduct, in vivo testing. Final alignment on the in vivo study design and analyses may be determined collaboratively after selected participants are identified.

ARMI will apply advanced computational techniques to evaluate correlations between high-dimensional in vitro characterization data and laboratory-provided in vivo data to help identify SC-islet quality control specifications.
