BioTrek Extended Learning Opportunity: Explore the World of Biofabrication (Winter Break Session)

February 26 @ 9:00 am - March 1 @ 3:00 pm

Registration is now open for BioTrek’s extended learning opportunity from February 26 to March 1, 2024, during New Hampshire’s winter break. Discover the fascinating world of biofabrication, its impact on healthcare, and the skills needed to excel in this evolving field. Join us for a week of exploration and innovation!

What is biofabrication?

Biofabrication is a cutting-edge field that holds the potential to revolutionize healthcare. It involves creating tissue engineered medical products (TEMPs) using advanced biomanufacturing technologies. Imagine the possibilities of creating life-changing treatments and cures for patients and veterans with debilitating diseases or injuries.

Why join BioTrek?

During this weeklong program, presented by the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI), you will:

  1. Explore the World of ARMI: Learn about ARMI’s groundbreaking work in biofabrication, tissue engineering, and advanced biomanufacturing technologies. Discover how their innovations are poised to transform not just manufacturing but also healthcare and education, providing promising job opportunities.
  2. Meet the Experts: Connect with scientists and professionals in the field, gaining insight into the diverse and exciting job opportunities that fuel the biofabrication industry.
  3. Hands-On Learning: Dive into the world of regenerative medicine and collaborate with a team to research current challenges. Your mission? Conceptualize a TEMP that addresses a real medical problem. Get ready for some friendly competition!
  4. Showcase Your Innovation: Present your TEMP concept and business model during a prestigious poster session or team presentation. Industry professionals will judge and determine the winning product proposal.
